Brought new but faulty laptop

Brought a brand new hp mini 1100 laptop opened the box and the keyboard is faulty, spent 1 hour argueing with the staff at the help desk, she was asking me to prove the fault. i tried but she was saying it was a softare fault, in conumer right's it states that the buyer doesnt need to prove the fault the seller (comet) need to prove it is not faulty and if it is turned out to be faulty then to get a full refund sat there argueing and argueing for a good hour untill she agreed to get it checked by an engeneer to see if the laptop was faulty and if it was we will give you a full refund she said that the engeneer will not be in today and will be looked at tommorow and i will get a call from comet of the outcome... not 1 phone call had arrived sat home all day waiting for the call no call so i decided to ring in they said to me " oh sorry the hp engineers are closed untill monday" (as it was friday) "and we will contact you on monday and discuss the outcome argued over the phone again absolutley rude manager didnt give a toss about anything i was saying. now waiting for monday to come and 'hp engineers to look at the laptop'

PS I HOPE COMET'S HEAD MANAGER IS READING THIS AND TAKING WHAT BULLSH*T CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE EMLOYEE'S ARE GIVING!!!
