I ordered a pair of jeans for a Christmas present and as I was being organised this was at the beginning of November. However they do not fit and the item is still on sale in Burtons however the returns policy states they will only accept returns before 28 days and they are refusing to accept my return. I appreciate that is their return policy but every other company I have purchased from extends their returns policy to allow for returns 14 days after Christmas to allow for items to be given as Christmas gifts. I am now left with the recipient not having a gift and an expensive pair (£31) of jeans of no use to me.
