I purchased a pair of shoes from the Carnaby Street store last June or July. I wore them twice. They broke. I took them back to Carnaby Street in September, asking that they be repaired. Normally, I would take them to a cobbler, but as these were from the summer collection, and it was only September, I don't feel I should be responsible for the repair. I had to argue to get them repaired, as I didn't have the box or original receipt with me. They said I had to prove that I bought them from that store. It should not matter if I bought them out of a car boot! They are from a collection that is only a few months old. They should not be broken! When they were finally repaired, I asked that they ship them to me (I live in Switzerland), writing USED shoe on the customs form. They did not write used. I had to pay import duty AGAIN for the shoe, which cost me more than taking it to a cobbler for repair! I have nearly 30 pair of Irregular Choice shoes. I will NEVER buy another pair again!
