I was looking for UGG boots and visited this website. The impression I was given is that as they stated "Australian made Australian owned" that the boots they were advertising were indeed from Australia. They use pictures of genuine UGG boots with the UGG logo. Maybe I was naieve but I actually thought they were the real deal and went ahead and ordered them. Alarm bells started to ring when I received no transaction ID, no tracking number and no confirmation of order. I emailed the company as they provide no address and no contact number and they got back to me saying the order didn't go through, could I please pay again. I didn't and money went out of my account today for the boots. After contacting them again to query as to why they had taken money for an order that was unsuccessful, they again insisted I hadn't made a purchase. After a string of emails they confirmed that I had ordered and the item would be shipped. I have emailed several times for a refund as they haven't yet dispatched and within the terms and conditions I am entitled to a refund. I have received no reply.
The company isn't from Australia but indeed China. They aren't selling boots they advertise- they are copies. I feel I was mis-led and that my request for a refund is being dismissed.
