J R Tetley Walking Floor and Low Loader Hire
Non Payment

J R Tetley Walking Floor and Low Loader Hire sub-contracted my partners company to move machinery and general haulage for over 5 months from November to February. He received 2 payments totalling £2k, which were late, at the beginning of January and since then hasn't been paid anything else. Currently they owe him in excess of £17k, and we are taking them to court as they are pleading poverty yet have just taken on a brand new Scania R500 with a custom paint job and lots of bling!!! They are thoroughly rude to deal with and after a final demand was issued have become more abusive and threatening. Advise anyone not to touch J R Tetley or his supposed office manager Kerry D'Auria if you want to be paid for work done. Even had the gaul to tell a fully trained solicitor of long standing that 'he doesn't know what he's doing and not to send e-mails like that again'!!!

Edward Collins Hired our Low Loader from us with a view to buy it in November 2011 but was unable to get the finance, we subcontracted some of our Haulage work which most was for him to receive payment direct from the customer. He also used our fuel cards for a while to help him through his cash flow problems as he was owed monies from a while back, He caused damage to our trailer including various blow outs and tyre repairs of which he tried to invoice us for, he did not maintain the trailer while in his care in accordance with VOSA terms of maintenance and it was returned to our yard on many occasions with problems that were corrected by our staff. Mr Collins was asked to provide us with his current insurance details so we had evidence that our trailer was sufficiently covered in the event of theft or an accident, he provided an expired insurance certificate that did not cover the value of our £68k trailer, this was pointed out to him along with the lack of Goods in transit insurance to his reply he was changing insurance company's and was waiting for a copy to be sent through. Immediately we refused to let our trailer go with Mr Collins until he could provide the correct insurance which he was unable to, various emails were sent between us including him getting his Mum involved who did not understand what was required, he was very unprofessional for a low loader driver causing upset to our customers and some not paying due to his negligence. We then decided it was best all round that he no longer did any work for us. Mr Edward Collins is unreliable, unprofessional trading with out correct insurance ***** Beware*****E C Haulage have not taken J R Tetley to court, Nor have E C Haulage ever been owed £17k from J R Tetley. I view this complaint as a deformation of character due to the realisation of unprofessional trading.
