EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - I'm not one to post complaints like this - but I left people need to know how bad Murphy Richards customer care is.
I bought and elipto Coffee machine Through Living social - another company to be wary of. The delivery policy is 21 days - and its been 5 weeks and I still don't have the machine. I bought it for a Christmas gift and will now have to turn up empty handed since they lost the product in delivery.
They had successfully taken the money out of my account, but the first time I called Murphy Richards customer care - they had no idea of my purchase nor did they have any of my details on their system. I received a call the next day and they told me that had managed to find me and track the product which should be delivered within the next day or two.
2 days later I still didn't receive the product. I called back and all customer care could tell me was they had no idea where the product was.and that it appeared the machine was lost since they couldn't find it any more. HOW DO YOU LOOSE A PRODUCT WHICH WAS ON YOUR SYSTEM 2 DAYS PRIOR!!!
All they offered to do was refund me instead of ship another one out straight away. REALLY POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Eventually after telling them that they were really poor in settling this matter and the least they could do was deliver another out to me - they offered to ship a new product on next day delivery quoting my work address.
I still haven't received the Coffee machine and its been two days since I was supposed to receive the re-shipped product. I called back only to find out that they accidentally mixed up my billing address and the shipping address - hence why the machine hasn't arrived.
They told them i'd be home for the next hour and they could deliver it within the hour to my home address and if not - then to deliver it to my work address where someone will be able to sign for it. GUESS what - they asked the courier to deliver it to my HOME ADDRESS before the end of the day! I mean seriously - how incompetent can you be!!! Which part of "I'll only be home for the next hour" don't you understand.
Be careful of this company - they will mess you around chronically. This has got to top one the the poorest customer experiences...
