Non Roadworthy Vehicle

I had purchased a car from this persons' uncle, in the knowledge and assurance that it was a good and reliable vehicle for the price i paid. within 2 days of purchasing, i had noticed excessive wear on all of the tyres. the reason i didnt notice this when i purchased it, the tyres were smothered in this black paste, which obviously hid the wear. then, within 10 days of owning the car, the heater matrix has ceased to work, so that had to be replaced immediately. the next problem to arise was the MOT. i took the car to Panda Motors, Landore, Swansea for the MOT test and within approx 4 mins, the test was stopped with 7 faults clocked up by this time. The underside of the car was rotten so badly that the floor had gaping holes in it. The car obviously failed the MOT for this, whereas I was assured it would pass the MOT without a problem. In order to pass the MOT i had to pay a total of £235 for new bulbs, wiper blades, new sills and welding. The MOT eventually passed, but only a week later the head gasket blew, which set me back another £150 for repairs. Then on Friday 2nd August, the clutch totally seized up and the gear box froze whilst in the middle of driving and it has just gone in to be repaired costing a total of £176. To summarise, i feel as if I have been robbed of £1000 (price of car i paid) and that a full refund and the car to be destroyed would be the best solution.
