Came out to A road traffic accident by appointment of west yorkshire police to recover a 50cc motorcycle from the road side, picked up the bike transported it approx 4 miles back to there depot.
When I came to ther depot the following morning to pick the motorbike up I was charged 171.55 for the privalidge thier bill was made up as follows 105.00 standard recovery charge, 45.00 vat for a second man to assist, and 6.00 storage per day even though they only had it fourteen hours why on earth it took two man to lift a 90kg bike off the road is beyond belief.
On top of all that even though my son the owner of the bike was concoius and told them to ring me to get the bike the West Yorkshire police did, nt contact myself our my sons mother at any time but got on the phone to halfway garage as soon as possible. To this day they have still not got in contact with myself or my son regarding thier actions or the road accident
