The company sold me a hid kit said it was specific to my make & model of vehicle, at first the kit wouldn't fit (required additional bulb holders) which wasn't advised to me at first. I was told to either damage my original holders by drilling them or buy additional ones for £35.00 to which I accepted with no choice because I wasn't willing to damage my original ones and void my warranty. After fitting them, the warning light came on, I rang HIDS4U and was advised my vehicle needs reprogramming (even though I purchased their ULTIMATE Kit) which is meant to be canbus ready and cost me £145.00
I could have bought any old digital kit for £60-70 and got it reprogrammed, I paid extra for their kit because they promised I wouldn't require programming. I'm now having to pay £65 more to get an auto electrician to reprogram it. Wasn't willing to pay more, returned the kit for a full refund and HIDS4U denied my claim for a refund said that I should have researched it fully before making my purchase and they did not make such promises and false accusations etc etc..
They're also demanding I pay £8.00 carriage for them to send the kit back to me.. what a fricking joke!!
SCAM COMPANY OF THE YEAR... WITHOUT A DOUBT, DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY - My friend advised me they were dodgy but I read so much good about them on the forums I thought surely he was wrong.. how I wish he was!
Currently have a claim going through the small claims courts..
