On 23rd October myself and four friends went to the Pizza Hut on Leicester Square, at around half 5/6pm. We were seated in good time, our food was quick and to the standard you would expect from Pizza Hut. The restaurant was not full and there seemed to be plenty of staff to handle the number of customers in the restaurant. We then waited about 15/20 minutes, at which point several of the waiting staff had been by, but none showed any inclination to clear our table, offer any desserts or see if we wanted the bill. We were in a rush to leave so on my way to the bathroom I asked somebody to get our bill and indicated which table I meant, they understood and I went to the bathroom. When I returned to the table 5 minutes later my friends told me they had not received the bill so we waited another 5 minutes. At this point we were agitated and one of my friends went up to a different member of staff to ask for our bill. We again waited for some time before our bill was brought to us. We paid the correct amount, as at this point we didn't feel inclined to leave a tip, and got up to leave. The waiter then stopped us on our way out to inform us that a service charge was not included in the price, we asked if we had paid the amount indicated on the bill, to which he replied it was the correct amount but service charge was not included in that amount. At this point we left, offended that after such poor customer service we would be stopped on our way out and asked for a tip.
