Yes Loans
Con

I recently tried to get a loan from Sainsbury's for a car, which as I expected was declined. However my details must have been passed to other companies as ten minutes later I received a phone call from Yes Loans.

The girl I spoke to explained that they help anyone in any situation with bad credit. (this is what the website also told me when i researched them) The girl told me it was good news and I had been accepted for a 1000 loan. All I had to do was pay a 69pound admin fee and the money would be transferred to my account within 5 working days, so I paid it 2 days later.

Two weeks later there was still no sign of the money so I rang them. I was told that their first lender had declined me but that they would check with the second lender, I said I didnt want this as I have heard that credit checks in themselves can affect credit. The guy I spoke to said that they had already accepted me so I assumed I may aswell agree to taking it. He assured me I would recieve the paperwork with 5 working days.

A further two weeks later I was still waiting and yet again, contacted them demanding a full refund. The said this couldnt happen I would have to make this request in writing which I refused. I was on the phone complaining for about 45mins when the guy I that was dealing with went through to admin who apparantley said I would receive a cheque with the refund within two weeks.. (it gets worse)

A FURHTER THREE WEEKS later and suprise... still no cheque, and again I contacted them..

This time I spoke to Adam who seemed quite helpful considering my mood and attitude. However when I explained my last conversation with Yes Loans, he went on to tell me that I was lying and that the last guy Chris that I had spoken to did not tell me that I would receive a cheque! I asked to speak to Chris however he was conveniently on holidays at this time. I then demanded to speak to a manager and was told that managers at Yes Loans do not take calls, but that he would pass me through to Christine Turner, supervisor in Admin. Christine said that they could bend the rules and if I sent a fax to confirm my wishes to cancel that she would be willing to accept that. I refused explaining that I don't have access to fax facilities and that I would not be writin in as I had waiting long enough. She then said I could send an email which I did. She said I would be sent a cheque.

Yet here I am a further two weeks later still waiting. The company is an absolute disgrace and I would recommended anyone NEVER EVER to use them!!!
