Lloyds TSB - Closed my account&no refunds
We have had a business account Allabout City Guides since 2009 with Lloyds TSB. In Sept2012 I was informed due to my attitude Lloyds TSB was closing my account which I was ecstatic about since I have been trying for 12 months to get our company debit sent through to us in South Africa to do internet bank.In that 12 month we have been paying bank charges of 5GBP every month, we received our card reader, our pin code but no card. I must have made about 9 international calls to Lloyds to rectify the problem and was never resolved. I was then told our account was being closed in September 2012 and its now January 10th still have not received our funds we need in that account to do business with.They have however sent me a cheque for 30GBP in South Africa. Where the **** must I cash the cheque, Lloyds TSB response "not our problem"! I have written numerous letters to this incompetent company instructing them to send the cheque to my UK address which they confirm they have received, but I don't have our money. Everytime I call this useless bunch I speak to different people, I complained numerous times but because wqe not in UK we cannot resolve this issue. My next stop Ombudsman banking
