Money taken out

Money has gone out of my account twice forsomething i have not bought . and wish to havbe my money back pls . 1st one was on the 21st auguest 2012 of 33.55 and the 2nd on the saME DAY OF £50. please i would liketo jknw what these payments were fort thank you

Hopefully, since its now about 5 days since you posted your comment, you will have looked up your Bank's pages on the internet and found all their contact numbers.

Then

Phoned the number most relevant to your having found unauthorised deductions from your account.

Unless there's a reason for those deductions that you've since remembered are legitimate, your bank would probably have

Cancelled your card and...

Sent out a new one to you which will have a different number which won't be known by whoever is spending money on your card without your authorisation.

They might also have refunded the two sums you mentioned.

I hope though that you discovered that the two sums were a legitimate purchase and that you had no need to contact the Bank's security/fraud department.

An added bit of protection for contactless cards - just to be on the safe side - is:

To line the pocket of the purse, card holder or wallet with kitchen foil.

Then ensure that the card goes in with the black strip and the chip well inside the pocket so that it is covered by foil on both sides.

That way radio waves can't be used to read the card information from a nearby mobile phone. Not that it is likely to happen much yet, but it can and has been recently done. See:
