Peters Aremu
Suspicious Fraud

I lost my job in December and have since been on temporary jod all along with debts to many creditors. I was trying to secure a small loan to settle some of my debts with YESloan and was later introduced to Money Worries for debt management.

I started with Money Worries in September and my deposit amount of £120 I paid to YESloan was transferred to Money Worries. My arrangement with money worries was to pay £500 monthly for five years to help me settle my debt without stress and I demanded my bank details which I gave. They requested an upfront of £500 for the month of September out of which I first deposited £50 and the rest to be taken by the end of September. I later got an information that they not good in debt management. Based on that, I wrote them immediately to terminate my contract. Unfortunately, they have deducted the remaining £450 from my account. I wrote them for refund which they refused. I immediately opened a new account with Barclays Bank where my salary now goes. To my surprise, I just got a letter from Barclays Bank now that an amount of £500 was meant for transfer transaction on a standing order arrangement ref:- MW/65772AREMU from my account to Money Worries, unfortunately, this amount could not be paid because I had insufficient funds in my account; in fact that was the reason why the bank wrote me. I am terrified and scared, as I did not know how they got hold of my account details with Barclays Bank let alone setting up a standing order of £500 to be transferred to them monthly. I am petrified as I write this letter. Please canyou help me confront them for me?
