Just to let you know that the Hotel.com scam is ocurring in the UK as well.
I recently booked a hotel stay in the UK with Hotel.com. It was a UK hotel booked with a UK credit card. When I checked my credit card account I had been charged 64 a few days prior to my hotel.com charge. The transaction was identified as originating in France.
I am not even going to try with Hotel.com. I have filed a fraud report with the credit card company.
