Watchfinder in Maidstone Kent, took watch away to value it. After asking several times when I could collect it, they continued to Insist on posting it back. They then ignored calls/emails, before finally saying they’d be posting it back. An email came from DHL a week later to say the parcel would be arriving by midday & required a signature. After staying indoors for their arrival, I then received a text to say - your parcel has been delivered (?!) I checked outside in case they had left it there (even though I knew no one had even come to the door all morning).
I then went back to the DHL email & clicked on track package - & was stunned & horrified to see a complete stranger receiving my parcel (with my name & address clearly on it!) I contacted Watch Finder immediately; they were completely incompetent & took ages asking for order no.s etc. After forwarding them the email I’d received from DHL regarding the arrival time, & the photo of the stranger taking my package; they said they’d call them straight away. Nearly an hour later, a Watch Finder employee called & said the DHL driver was on his way back to collect the watch from the stranger, & would then deliver it straight to the correct address - except the driver never did! & up till now - No one from Watch Finder has even bothered to contact & follow this up & sort it out! Despite being completely aware of the situation. Diabolical company - PLEASE BEWARE!
