I bought the sprint PCS wireless phone from the local Wal-mart only because the advertisement said that I would have neither monthly bill or a contract. Boy, was I wrong!!
Come to find out when I activated the phone, the customer service represenative said that the contract and billing information was for general inquiry.
The first month I didn't receive a bill and I thought the rep's word was actually genuine. However, the second month I received a bill for both months. Icalled and was told that it would be fixed.
I made what I assumed to be a payment for the prepaid airtime that I wanted, but was starting to get bills on a monthly basis. After writing, e-mailing, and calling to rectify the situation. I had my service disconnected and was sent a bill for early cancellation!!
Early cancellation fee, I didn't even think I was suppose to get a bill!!
I recently wrote a letter and asked, whether their advertisement in the store was false advertisement and is still waiting for an answer.
