I was working for the Sportsman casino for 13 Years. In that space of time, we changed premises three times!!
As a dealer I was groomed to be unscrupulous. war was waged against the punters by the inspectors, to unsettle them!
Here are a few examples: Late bet sir! take those chips off! I will remove the winning bets and leave on the losers! I feel guilty and ashamed as I write.
Money laundering: Big "fish" will come in, change, say, 1000. Then they will draw another 10.000 from an overseas account, and then cash it all in, taking a cheque, for a British Bank account they hold.
The Police got wiff of this this, and they raided us twice, while I was there. If someone wins, they call the Police, claiming that the person has cheated.
In fact, such a case recently ended up in the High Court, where The Sportsman lost the case!
They advertise themselves as the "ONLY CASINO" that loses money!! Nice trap, beware!
In general, take it from me, this place is a dump, avoid it at any cost, and have a happy life!!
