I google searched for a song I really wanted to download and the FilesTube website came up. It showed me an offer for 7 Day trial for £1.99. I ticked that circle, and filled in card details etc.
When I received the confirmation email it showed that I was going to be charged £49!! Spoke to bank, the payment had already been taken.
The email from them had the web address of unrestricted downloads and so I googled them and found all these complaints. I found a contact number for London, held for 10 mins or so, then spoke with someone. She said that if I don't want the lifetime membership options then I should have unticked those options! So basically unless you un-select the things you don't even want, you'll get charged for it. I pushed very hard and am now apparently getting refunded £47.63. The £1.99 they get to keep! NICE! I have to wait 5-10 working days for my money back, so watch this space! A total scam - am gutted I got sucked in.
