I was phoned after aborting a half filled in form by USAFIS for entering the green card lottery and then was given false information and lied to in order cajole me into paying for a green card entry - I have not filled in any form nor have I issued a photo to them - they are fraudlant and think that because they don't operate in the UK they are above the law. I would greatly appreciate advice on how they can be prosecuted and shut down as it is apparent from the I nternet that they have found many innocent victims. They are very smooth operators and obviously employ a number of staff with 'American accents' who are well trained in the art of maniupulation. This type of scam needs to be severely dealt with and they must be made to pay for their crimes and to refund all the money wrongly taken from people. They do not abide by either data protection or consumer law and blatantly flaunt it. Surely they need to be governed by these? Again advice would be appreciated.
