The date is Thursday the 6th of August. I have recently viewed the 6.30 news and to my disgust it seemed more important to report on the release of the notorious Ronnie Biggs than the funeral of the great Harry Patch who served this country. He did not steal from this country, or hit anyone over the head with a crowbar, or be on the run for over 4 decades yet it seemed Granada in all its wisdom thought the local people would rather hear about that item firstly. Unfortunately this isnt so. I myself who has fought for this country and still do serve in the forces have very strong feelings over what is important and it certainly is not Mr biggs. Mr G Grice
