It was my mum's 50th on 17th and as I am based In South Africa (she is in England) i decided to place an order with Sainsburys. Worst mistake.
The delivery was for the Friday. Didn't arrive. They didn't even attempt to contact me. They explain that I got the address wrong.
Saturday - I organize for another delivery for the Sunday, upset that my Mum didn't get a birthday gift.
Sunday - Father parks down the road waiting for the van. No van comes. No phone call. But they charge me twice.
I phone Liz some sort of manager. She offers me 20pounds voucher (great for people living in SA), tells me that the previous person didn't put the correct details down. I am put on hold numerous times. we arrange a time for Monday.
Monday - NOTHING. My father calls. Liz didn't change the delivery times, or any of the details. She just **** to me for 35mins
So, I have wasted money on:
o Phone calls (calling from South Africa is beyond expensive)
o Two orders bank fees
o Delivery fees....for what?
The apologies have been nonchalant to say the least. I've had rude service from your customer service with one of them dropping the call on me.
I still have no delivery, no reimbursement and wasted time
