This so called company is a joke. In June of last year, I got a $200 loan. I paid the renewal fee each week until I could pay the loan off. They sent emails each week to opt to pay the fees only. When I was ready to pay it off, I didn't opt to pay the fees thinking they would take the whole amount and go away.
They did not. They continuously took $40 out of my account weekly. I tried to call, but to no avail. I never could get anyone to answer the phone no matter what option I chose on the automated line. I even pushed the corresponding number on the key pad for a new loan with no answer. I called from different phone numbers thinking that maybe my phone number showed up.
I went to my bank and submitted a stop payment on B.I.G. limited. They startyed calling me then, but they got no answer. The following week they submitted a payment to my account from BIG Investment Group. So, I submitted a no authorization on that debit. The following week they sent an electronic check from Rovinge Inc. I once again submitted a no authorization on that debit, as well.
The debits sent through after the initial stop payment was processed, were submitted under different company names and company numbers. So they were unauthorized since the other companies had no authorization to debit my account for anything. I will continue to submit no authorizations until they run out of company names and numbers. I will prevail.
They actually have the nerve to call me and ask how I want to settle this. I have informed them that as far as I'm concerned it's settled. I refuse to close my account with my wonderfully fantastic credit union (that's not sarcasm). They have gone out of their way to help me resolve this. Everytime I submit a no authorization, my credit union refunds the $40 that B.I.G. debited.
Do not deal with this company for any reason. They will do the same thing to anyone else. Legal action needs to be taken against them, but I'm not sure how to do it yet.
