On Sat. 1 Aug. 09 I rec'd a check from TYCO Electronics Corporation P.O. Box 3608, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3608 for $4, 450.00. The check looks very authentic and is made out from M & T Bank in Harrisburg, PA. A cover letter is from Northern Rock Promotions Inc and they state that I won a lotto sweepstaks held on the 15th of April. I am informed that #312897MS attached to my name drew the lucky number, 23-13-21-34 for a total of $125, 000.00. I am adviced to contact my claim agent TREVOR WOOD, on 1-778-316-6419 to start my claims process.
Further, I am adviced to please do not act on this letter until I speak with my claims agent. The cover letter also tells me that the enclosed check for the sum of $4450.00 made out by the event sponsors will be deducted from my overall winnings. The balance of $120, 550.00 will be sent to me through their special partner currier service in the form of a certified cashier's check. Must clear taxes of $2950.00 and to submit the same to Tax Agent: Rita Bold, 17 Eagle Road, Everton U.K.; Method of payment: Western Union; Tax Agency: Tax handlers UK.
I have not and will not submitted any money, I didn't fall of the proverbial turnip truck yesterday!
