After reading many reports on this disgraceful company, I have decided to write my own report on what goes on in the world of executive advertising. This company is by far the worst excuse for a business on the planet and is in my opinion everything that a business should not be.
The main factor in the companys success for the americans that own it is BRAINWASHING. You are brainwashed into thinking you can make 100k in your first year and the fact that you can run your own business by starting as a "distributer" (yeah right, its door to door sales) and working your way up to having your own office within "10 MONTHS".
It started on the day that i applied for the job that i smelt something wasn't right. I got a phone call the next day saying that i had been selected for an interview after having a very sucessful CV. The fact is i never sent my cv via email to the company, so it made me wonder how they could say that but i put it down to typo error.
I turned up for the interview the day after at 3.30pm although my interview was at 3.00pm due to traffic. I phoned explaining i would be a bit late and the receptionist with american accent said it would be ok without even checking with the interviewer.
During the interview which lasted "10 mins" and could have easily been done over the phone i was fed all this gibberish about how the manager himself started 4 years ago with nothing and now earns 200k a year. i was told how thie business works and what it does such as "we are a direct marketing company which deals with clients marketing and advertising. There is not one mention of door to door at all, it's like they were banished words and were trying to avoid it.
After the interview i was selected for a secondary interview the next day and i was told that i would be spending a day as an observer with another member of the company. I turned up at 11.45am thinking i would be spending the day in the office at a desk and i noticed that everyone who was here the day before had been selected for a secondary interview.
I spent the day with a so called leader and was fed loads more gibberish in a car on the way to the job, i thought i was going to the office but was told we was working in york. at destination we get out of the car and start doing door to door until 8pm, it was then that i realised what was going on.
i decided to stay with the company as i needed the money and all the "BRAINWASHING" sounded unbelievably good even though it was 100% commission and no basic salary (which i was told only on the day that i started) i was sucked in.
I started the next day and signed an agreement blah blah blah, which stated i would be paid a training wage of 150 for the week as i wasn't expected to make any sales and this payment would be paid in 3 weeks. 3 weeks later I havn't been paid and asked why and they fed me crap of "oh i dont know why il have a check and it should be there next week". ok no problem i thought, by now i had made quite a few sales and had made quite a bit of money (so i thought). the following week i checked my bank and i still havn't been paid for my training or the sales, i asked again why and the same reply came.
i started at 10am and got home for 11pm every day, i lost friends and family because of it and never got paid. the owners made sure that they went over what you could be earning every day to keep you brainwashed when it was never going to happen. its a pyramid scheme built to fill the managers pockets. they cant even get a proper email address it says [email protected] on behalf of executive advertising, come on whats all that about.
the only good that come out of it was the fact i got a couple of new mates who have since left the company as well.
stay well away from this company they advertise on every site be well aware.
