BIP SOLUTIONS
INVOICED FOR SERVICE NEVER USED

A Sales man from BIP SOLUTIONS called my office and spoke about their free trial on tracker and tenders. i said i was not interested but he said it was free and at the end of the free trial it would be cancelled. free trial was from 18/3 to 18/04. I never used the service at all except when he called me to introduce how to use the service. i was away in april and i got my colleague at work to fax a cancellation of the offer to BIP on 01413312652, Also as soon as i returned i notice they were still sending email alerts, on the 24th of may and 1st of june i sent an email to cancel there services, i also left messages on Kenny Ralston personal and direct message box cancelling the service, .

We received a call in November stating i had an outstanding invoice with BIP Solutions. i called and spoke to Isabelle Whiteford whom i told we sent a fax to cancel on the 19/4 and we have a copy of the fax, we resent and we heard nothing further.

i received a a legal notice from Darcey Quigley & Co. 14A Clydesdale Street, Hamilton, ML3 0DP

asking for payment of "Debt Amount: £1, 324.23 (Inc £172.73 Late Payment of Commercial Debts [Interest])" - i thought it must be a mistake i responded that we have no paid for legal relationship they then intimiated me that they never received my notification to cancel and as such i now owe them this amount.

I sent the lawyer email with copies of the fax dated 19th april and copies of the email and they say well it was outside the required time and now they wan to file an Liquidation Petition under Section 123 of the Insolvency Act 1986 against the company i work for.

what can i do. i never used the service, i requested it be cancelled. HELP PLEASE SOMEBODY, MY ORGANISATION IS A SMALL FIRM WE CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR A SERVICE WE HAVE NOT USED OR TO BE MADE INSOLVENT. HELP
