i received a mail from this is saying i have won a merc and 7, 00000 pounds. to verify the authenticity i made a call on the above no and received a confirmation mails with the contacts of the courier company which was to deliver me my prize.i have sent the content of the mail. i later on googled it and noticed that its a well known scam . why hasnt anything been done abt it so far. and since i made the call and he can track my addredd from it what steps should i take to avoid a id theft to make credit cards in my name?
