I know most people know better than to send any money overseas to help somebody get to the U.S. to start a relationship, I Knew better and I had read many articles about such scams. But this girl is good.
She calls herself as Candeleria Morales, a.k.a. candy. She claims to have a daughter by the name of angel and will show you many pictures of herself and her daughter. You coan find her on Myspace, you can find her on match.com or Eharmony.com as well as many other sites I'm sure.
She will pamper you through email and messenger for a long time, make you feel wonderful, make everything sound so real. After talking to you for a long time she will make a claim that she has everything set up to come back to the U.S. as she used to live her, but all she needs is a little extra cash. Cash for a B.T.A. to complete her flight details and move back to U.S.
Not asking for a whole lot at first, me, she only needed 300.00$ which was given to her. Her flight itenerary was sent after recieving the money and everything looked legit. I was scheduled to pic her up at the airport about 45 minutes ago. Then, all of a sudden, I got curious and the detective came out in me.
I called the Airline company she supposedly "bought" the tickets from. All information on the itenerary was false, she (he for all I know) had doctored it. The fligt numbers were legit but they didnt match the times shown on the itenerary. The airport she was flying out of was spelled incorrectly. Little things became visable after this was found out.
Next thing you know she pops back up on my messenger 1 hour before she was supposed to arrive in the city. "We've gota problem" She needs to get a transit visa to get through Amsterdam, which is a layover she had on her way here. The Visa will cost 450$
This is where I called it quits, called her out and she has yet to write back. Disappeared, like a coward.
i tried the necessary steps that many suggest in the Online dating scams. I told her I would like to visit her in her country and we can fly back together. She invited me over, told me the airport to meet her at and let me know that I would need extra money for a hotel as I wouldnt be able to stay at her place. It all sounded legit, but it wasnt.
Beware of this woman, I'm sure she will change her alias, but then again, she couldnt even doctor the flight itenerary correctly, so maybe she won't. Don't be fooled when she comes ringing your messenger next, don't be fooled when you think you've met a wonderful lady on an internet dating site.
1. Offer to meet her first, if she agrees then go. Worst comes to worst you just took a nice vacation out of country.
2. Don't send money to anybody...
3. Stick to dating those you can reach in state or country.
I have pictures she sent me as well, if there is anyway you can get ahold of me, I'll be more than happy to send.
