I purchased a vauxhall vectra 1.9 cdti 3 years ago when it was about 9 months old, since purchasing it all work including annual servicing was carried out by their technicians, however it has also been in for breakdowns after warning light came on this has happened 4 times first 3 times it was due to a faulty exhaust gas regulator the fourth time the same light came on they discovered it was the manifold all carboned up and a new one was required this work cost me £730, my complaint is that between the services and subsequent repairs that the diagnostics checks carried out should have picked up on the engine running inefficiently as it surely would have done if the manifold was has bad as stated, i did state that i was not happy with having to pay for what i see as their negligence and a technician was to contact me re this a week ago but i'm still waiting
