As many others, my parents are waiting for a substantial refund from CarHireUK. They've now held the money for around three months, seven weeks since the car was returned and it is getting increasingly frustrating. They are not taking my calls any more.
I have reported them to Consumer Direct who will take it up with Trading Standards. All I can urge is to stay away. Do not rent from them as they are at best very poorly organised and at worst deliberately swindling customers.
