I've just read a review about tropical collection and travel bag who are the company the fly with and read about how bad they were and a person called Laura who dealt with us as well.

We went to Hong Kong, Bangkok and Phuket with tropical collections. The company seemed a bit un organised from the start and very hard to get hold of if needed. I think we spoke to this Laura just once or twice then nothing until one day tickets for all the flights came.

Everything was good as a holiday until coming home where we met our Tour East rep and he in his little english told us that the time we were going to be picked up to the airport was 30 minutes later than we had written down on our time. Thinking nothing of it we carried on until getting to the airport and seeing that our Air Asia flight had been put back by 2 hours without anyone saying a word of it.

That meant that when we landed in Bangkok the gate to our BA flight home was shut and would not let us on.

Long story short we had no help from tropical collections, travel bag and when spoke to them it was our fault??? The only help we got was from Qantas who said to wait at the airport but because of only one flight a day from Bangkok we had to stay in a hotel for two nights and pay £300 excess to get on a flight two days later.

All i had was a email saying it was all our fault and would not get any money back what a joke.

Dont book with these because all they want is your money and didn't care one bit that we were stranded on the other side of the world
