IITT ACCREDITATION!!! DO NOT INVOLVE WITH THIS SCAM!! THEY FORCE COMPANIES TO GET ACCREDITED BY MISSELLING OVER PHONE.
UK Based IT Training Companies need to get accredited by approved accreditation body in order to provide particular Training Courses. There are lots of Accreditation body and depending on the Training Courses, Training Company need accreditation. Basically Most of the IT Training Company go for CISCO, MICROSOFT, ORACLE, COMPTIA, OFQUAL, ASIC, BAC etc. Each of these accredation body have unique set of standards in order to provide their approved course curriculam and set of standards which are accredited by themselves or an approved recognised body. IITT is an Accreditation Provider company which provides Accreditation to the privately funded Training Organizations. When Training Companies try to get accredited by these mentioned approved and recognised companies, IITT take the opportunity to missell their services to the small Training Companies.
I am writing to inform you that what happend to me when i was looking for accreditation in order to become Internation College and to provide approved microsoft courses, I just fill their enquiry form (which i thought an expression of interest) in order to know more about their program and services. They charge minimum 4 to 5 times comparing with any other world recognised accreditation providers. Even they dont have their own course, course curriculum, syllabus, like Microsoft, CISCO, IBM, ComptTIA and even they are not accredited by UKBA in order to be an approved international college. Then after making the enquiry, i received numerous number of phone calls from IITT's Sells Lady to fill up their "application form" (which later on turn into a contract) to know more about their accreditation services in details becasue she told me if you fill the application form, one of our consultant will get back to you and will explain you details about our services. I decided to fill IITT's appliation form and faxed it to them in order to know more about their services. After receiving the fax by IITT, they stopped communicating with us for about 2 months and after that they sent me an Invoice of 5700 pounds for auditing and accreditation charges for the first year. As soon I received the invoice, phoned them straight and told them i do not need your accreditation and if I need in future than I will inform you. I told them that i simply filled the application form in order to get more information about the services you provide but they claimed that the appliation form which i filled up was basically an agreement. They simply turn their application form into a contract. They told me that you have to pay our invoice otherwise we will send you cour notice. I informed them that i have not received any sort services from you and i dont need your service any more. But over the phone sells person missold to me that they are approved by UKBA and later on we found that they are not. On their application form the time of audit for accreditation and charges i left blank because at that point i just filled the form to know more about their services and IITT later on put the time and amount on the application form.
So Please beaware of this sort of professional scam.
