I was contact through an email I was approved for a loan for 15, 000 at 3% and I had already been scam once, so I told them I was not paying any upfront fees that it was against the law. So they come back and said okay we can secure the loan with Alster Bank and if you can send us 300.00 for out brokerage fee you are approved. So yeah I knew better but I thought well 300.00 isnt that much so yes I did it, I western union 300.00 to Michelle Brian, #97 Great North Road, London, N2 ONL, United Kingdom. So after I did that the bank contacted me the next day I thought wow this is going well, and the bank sent me over the loans agreement which looked great, I even looked the bank up on line this time to see what type of reputation they had and it all sounded good, they were a large large bank. So then a few days pass, phone calls which they did always answer the brokerage company did but they just said hello when they answered, the banks phone number did not work. So they the bank emailed me and said my account has been sit up and my funds were ready to be transferred, gave me the web site of www.ulcter.co.uk/-/ebanking.html notice how it isnt Ulster bank like the emails shows, the web site is ulcter. So I signed in with the information he gave me it looked great and professional so I signed in and came to point where after you put in you account number you want it transferred to I clicked transfer, then a pop up came up and said you need a COT code to complete this contact your banking manager to get this, so I did, and he said yes you need to send us 800.00 to pay for the transfer fees. So yeah scammed again. I told them both where to go and have reported to every company and goverment office I could. Banker name was supposley Ben Paker, his number is 447011130535 but it doesnt work, the brokerage company Anita Green Saf Loan Services the guy who always answered the phone his name was Charles and I could barely understand him, his number is 447024014066 and one time he called me on my cell phone and it showed a 231 area code so when I tried to call it back it said I couldnt it was no valid number. I dont know how these people keep getting away with this, cant the government do more to protect us as consumers, yes we made stupid mistakes but when your desperate and someone is offering you an answer you feel you have to try.
