We purchased a parrott from Emma Corris Londenderry Northern Irleland for £280 paid for by moneygram. The carrieres then contacted us to pay £400, £320 to be refunded on delivery making transport £80. Then asked for £350 for insurance refunded upon delivery. Delivery delayed due to bad weather put in parrot rescue for the night. Then asked for £350 fo be released from rescue centre. Did all this told would be delived today 17 Feb. This morning we were told she had laid 3 eggs and needed £450 for incubator to transport them with her. We gave them our permission to destroy eggs and just send her but they would not accept that. Refused to pay any more money. Now paid £1320 with constant assurances for refunds by themselves in writing by email to us and from the breeder Emma Corris. We have kept her informed at every stage and have received replies until now. Nothing from her or carriers. Our cost also include 4 moneygrams totalling £100. We may have been nieve but everything was so convincing and we had the true wellbeing of the parrot, if it ever existed at heart. We presume we have been well and truel scammed... very expensivly!!
