Visa Swift received my passport on 13 October, being recommended by my travel firm, Explore Holidays, to obtain visas for Togo and Benin. For a reason unknown to me, nothing was done until 1 November when I was finally able to get in touch with them by telephone. I needed the visa to travel on 3 November. During that time, their phone went largely unanswered and there was no response to multiple e-mails. They were able to rush and get an expedited visa from Benin at extra cost, but none from Togo which I must ask for when I get there. They also arranged for a courier to take the visa to me at Gatwick airport on 3 November when I travel. Incredibly, Edward, who says he is the managing director, refused to deduct the extra charges for courier delivery and expedited service from the Benin visa people which he agrees was caused by his firm's mistake. So he has charged me £275, a fee which I was required to pay or he would not release my passport. He did not even have the good grace to apologise for their incompetence.
