I made a hotel booking for a date in April, for Florence, Italy, on-line at the hotelto4u website, in February and made payment on-line, with protection, bu credit card. I received boking confirmation and voucher. The money was taken from my bank account. Two days ago I received an email, undated, unsigned from MOSS TRAVEL, stating tht my booking had been cancelled. I fired back an email asking what it was all about and received another email stating that instructions had been received from my bank to refund payment.
None of this is true. I have cheked with my bank, who confirm no such instruction was given. I checked with the hotel, by telephoner direct and the booking is good and is paid for. I have cancelled my credit card, for security reasons and I am still trying to work out the nature of the 'Scam'
