Screwing money out of people

Last month I had a problem with my alarm. I got in touch with ADT to find out what could be done. I pay every month for my alarm to be maintaine. I was told there would be no charge. I was to be told how to reset over the phone. No one phoend. A day later an engieneer turns up at my door.2 minutes it takes to rest then he's gone. The end of the matter or so I thought.4 weeks later I am slapped with a bill. I phoned over afew weeks to sort the the issue out yet Iam ignored by the the manager and call staff arn't authorised to deal with the matter. I cancel my direct debit which they are quick to send a letter about but yet still don't sort this bill out. The manager can't even speak to me in person but gets his call staff to do the dirty work for him. I still have not be given a reason why or how they can charge me after I was told there wouldn't be one. I would advise anyone dealing with them to record any phone calls for future reference should ADT try to screw them over for money at a later date.
