Me and my friends were expecting an enjoyable night ten-pin bowling, we rang to book two lanes as there were seven of us and we also stated that we would like two games. (all female party 22 year olds.) On arrival we stated our names, and the lady on the desk told us which lanes to go in. After playing about 5 balls each, one lane crashed, so we went and told the girl behind the desk. She then got her manager to come down to sort this out. The manager said there were the wrong amount of people on the lane and would not fix it for us. I then told the manager we booked for seven people and we had the receipt to prove we paid for seven people. She understood this but then had the excuse that we had the four people on the wrong lane etc etc. This was not good enough. After ten minutes of getting nowhere with the manager, she refused to give us a refund as we had already played 5 balls. We explained we payed for two full games but still would not give us a refund. To top this off, they had booked another party on the lane we had booked in for. Unfortunately, the other party were not very understanding and were threatening us if we did not get out of their lane. Security did nothing about their threatening behaviour. I asked the managers name which she would not give me and she walked off. We could not finish our games because of the system crashing and the abusive people shouting at us. I can honestly say I have no desire to go there again at all and I am totally disgusted in the way in which we were all treated.
