Bandiera Marketing - Any Other Names That Seem To Have Been Cropping Up Around The Net

BANDEIRA MARKETING - POSSIBLY OTHER NAMES FOR THE COMPANY - BASED 39 WILSON STREET. BEWARE...

After looking on the internet an advert caught my eye for a job close to home excellent perks, a highly paid job that told you you could keep progressing, no experiance needed.

Great i thought, a new skill, lots of money, so off i went and applied thought no chance theyll want someone with a degree im only young with college qualifications nothing remotley to do with marketing.

Phone Call: can you come in for an interview, thought it was abit strange never mind, off i went, for an interview in a scratty little falling down office above a pizza shop, which i must add didnt even have a sign untill you opened the door and it was written on a tatty peice of paper.

I should have turned around then... went up the stairs and into a little boxy room that was scruffy/ really scruffy (not these glamourous offices you seen true marketing people working in). There were a number of people sat waiting to be interviewed which reassured me a little.

Interview time...
The girl who came and interviewed me looked young (younger than me) and was were a cheap blouse and trousers (probably came out of primark not that i have any thing against primark clothes i quite often shop there BUT you don't expect it off this apparant high paid job that you make hundreds of thousands of pounds doing)

Anyway back to the interview... we sat down in a room this plaster falling off the walls she introduces her self i introduce my self, apparently this office in middlesbrough they have just gotten and havent had time to do up ... (hmmm if you say so) explains the job which is selling some tacky makeup out of a bag (basically standing on the streets like the big issue sellers do making a fool out of your self), We work for ourselfs and buy the products off her to start (hmmm hang on arent we meant to be working for her thats why shes interviewing us).

We start off as sales people and then work our way up to assistant manager and then manager, then we'll be running our own business (no love you just told us we were running our own buisness from the start), she carries on talking fortunatly im not that gulible .. there is no way on gods earth we could make 70 000 a year, she shows me a peice of the make up and i nearly laugh, i wouldnt have paid a pound for it never mind 9 for the foundation, cheap packaging, not appealing in any way, no one could even match their skin tone to the colour it was (tango orange) no thanks.

She'll let me know the outcome of the interview and then we'll arrange a second interview and a trial date.

Suprise Suprise he phone call comes:
She was really impressed will you come back in next week i'll ring you on friday to arrange a date. my mind was made up by this point it was a scam after seeing the offices and the people, the fact that one girl asked the receptionist how many people worked there and the receptionist quite openly said i don't know.

However i decided if the mystical phone call ever came i would in fact go, i had no intention of giving up my job that i was happy in, i possibly would of considered it had i not witnessed what i did on the first visit, it was the curiosity factor that had gripped me now.

The phone call never came as i expected it wouldn't, i phoned them and was replied by a dead tone, i emailed them no response this confirmed the fact they had wasted many peoples time, and the sad fact was that many people were probably relying on that job to get them by. I can also honestly say i have many time been past the place were that interview was conducted at various different hours when you would expect a business like that and who one of there main clients is morrisons and asda to be open, and the shutters have always down.

The harsh reality is these people were, conartists, liars, possibly theifs off some people who may have bought the products, slave drivers, tax evaders, pry on peoples weaknesses, who expected you to run about the streets with their cheap shoddy products, work below minimum wage and expect you to put up and shut up. I could continue but you would be reading all night long.

My advice stay clear away and business that pops up above 39 Wilson Street Middlesbrough, unless you check them out before hand.

I hope this helps someone
