Fake Lottery Prize

I recently received an email informing me that I had won a lottery prize. I have since received emails regarding paying out money to enable the prize to be sent to me. I thought I would investigate it further and found several sites on the internet where people have received the same or similar emails regarding prize winnings and have since found them to be fake lotteries.
