We are in NEW ZEALAND and my partner received a text saying he had won 250 000 british pounds and we needed to email '[email protected]' im not sure what country this email goes to but it doesnt sound like a british email address. But we thought we would email anyway because whats the harm and that money is worth more than double in new zealand! Although we both knew it sounded like a scam for sure.
I just received this email in my junk folder and reading through it sounds more and more like a scam i googled immediately and found all these different but similar emails and texts alot of other people received. So i thought i would add this on here as well as others in new zealand might have received the same thing. But this sould be stopped or announced publicly because i know alot of people howould be sucked in. Luckily i read about scams in magazines and didnt go any further.
