Arianna Hudson, Steve Cheshire and TNT
John Scales - TNT Payment Department, Craigslist scammers, offer electronics to be delivered through TNT upon receiving payment through Western Union

I have been reading this thread with great interest, only it was too late for me. I surrendered the money without a worry and patiently waited for it to work out. I only wish I was more suspicious sooner. Hindsight is 20/20. For me it was the same 42 in. HDTV. For me she was named Arianna and used the same cookie cutter email as I have seen on this site. First it was this:

Yes I still have the TV. But there is something that I didn't mention in the post.
Please bear with me on this. I am now in United Kingdom. I have been relocated here with my work several months ago. I was offered free transportation and I took the TV with me. But I can't use it here because it works on the NTSC format and here they use the PAL format. I tried to sell it locally but with no luck. That's why I'm trying my luck in the US.
Since I can't meet you and make the exchange, I found a service that will help us with that. Click on the link below to learn more about the service:

TNT is a worldwide delivery company but it is better known here in the UK. You can see from their procedure that you will be able to check out the TV before I receive the payment. In this way the both of us can be at ease. I will use 2 day delivery at my expense.

Thanks.

Then it was this:
Hi

I see that you don't know how our deal will work out. Did you read TNT's procedure on their website? It is explained there how their service works. Let me know after you read their procedure so I can be certain that we are on the same page:

Thanks.

Then this one:
I will sell you the TV for $320 with everything in the pictures included, I will use 2 day delivery and allow you 5 days to inspect it. Shipping is on me. Your total price will be the $320 for the TV a fee ($30) for sending the money to TNT. So, do we have a deal? At this point I need your name and address to start the deal.

Thanks.

Then this one:

I went to TNT today. The guys from TNT told me that they will check the TV out and then notify you with their findings. They will also contact you with the shipping and payment details.
Be sure to check your junk folder as well, as TNT said that some email providers may misinterpret their notifications as junk email (due to the fact that their notifications are sent automatically).

Thanks.

When I didn't reply right away I received this odd email with what I assume is the s left out of "news":

Hi

Wondering if you have any new on our deal.

Thanks.

Then here is the email I got from "TNT" with the Western Union information and address in Wolverhampton:

Description of goods: 1 x Philips 42PFL7403D/F7 LCD TV
Buyer: xxxx
Delivery address: xxxx
Seller: Arianna Hodson
Amount to be paid by the Buyer: USD $320.00

Delivery Type: TNT Express 2nd Day
