I bought a HP netbook from PCWorld.co.uk that was advertised as a low price deal at £199. The netbook was advertised as having a 6-cell lithium ion battery but when it was delivered it only came with a 3-cell battery. I sent it back had it exchanged as I was told it was a manufacturer mistake, when it was re-delivered it still had a 3-cell battery. On phoning PC World a second time I was told it only ever came with a 3-cell and was told I could keep it and £25 towards a 6-cell battery that wouldn't fit the netbook or have a complete refund. I took the refund but still feel I was a victim of false advertising. The product is still on their website as having a 6-cell battery http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/packard-bell-dot-se-r-110uk-red-netbook-08753834-pdt.html
