I went in to this childrens shop today to get my son some new shoes. I noticed that there was a sale area of which i liked a pair of sandles, it had £38.99 under the sole reduced to £30.00 so i decided i would buy them. As its coming up to easter my mother gave me some money for my son to buy a new pair of boots, i liked a white pair. I looked underneath of them but they didnt have a price on them so i thought i would just get them as i didnt think they'd be to badly priced. I got to the counter and she said thats £82.98. So i said that cant be right as the sandles were only £30.00 and then she said the others were £43.99. It should be £73.99. I must admit i was really shocked to think a little boys pair of boys boots could cost £43.99.
Regarding the sandles... it had a sticker saying £30.00 but then when i looked again on the one on the reduced section after i had paid she had removed the ticket. when i said to her they had a ticket on it she said no it did not.
While i was there i asked about a lilttle short and shirt two piece that i liked and she said it was £75.00, but nothing at all in her shop is priced up other than the reduced shoes.. i was looking through the rails and nothing had a price on.
Also she never even gave me a reciept??? Plus she never even had a till, she put the money in a box.
I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW TO OWN A BUSINESS AND NOT TO HAVE THE PRODUCTS YOU SELL PRICED FOR CUSTOMERS TO SEE OR TO GET A RECIEPT.
I believe the ladies who own the shop are off the travelling comunity and are very vindictive, unscruplious caricters who are owt to rob people. There proberly not even tax paying people. I am so angry regarding this matter. I hope it gets sorted. Thank you.
