I recently had the worst 2 journeys ever with Air France. I travelled out to South Korea 9th Dec 08, AF5553 from Aberdeen was delayed 1 hr because the crew didn't turn up until 30mins after our departure time. W e were delayed a further 30mins in Paris because there was no one to put the aircraft steps in. I got on AF264 paris to seoul at 13.15, we didn't take off for our 11hr flight until 17.00, apparently we were waiting all that time on de icing.

I thought this trip was bad until I had my return journey 06.01.09. I had no explanation why my 9 am from Seoul to Paris AF267 was cancelled at the last minute, my company boo0ked me on the 13.45 AF261. At Busan they thought they would cancel that and re booked me on AF267, I then spent 2 hrs in Seoul trying to get back on AF261. After arriving in Paris and waiting 1 hr to get my boarding pass for Paris to Aberdeen AF5560, we were then delayed a further 3 hrs, again with no explanation from Air France personnel. It meant I arrived in Aberdeen 6t hrs later than planned, missed my train and had to wait 2 hrs for a taxi as the airport had just about closed. I made it home at approx 3am, I should have been home at 6pm.

You would probably think it couldn't get much worse but I'm afraid it did, my bags did not turn up, its now 3 days later and I still have had no word on their location, I also do not have a contact number so I can check on progress.

The next thing I found out is that 6 days before I took the flights that would make me a gold Flying Blue Club member you have zeroed my level flights and miles. My wife and I are travelling to New York 16th Jan with Northwest and I was hoping to take her to the lounges whilst we wait. I will be travelling to S Korea for the next couple of years but because of the lack of response to any of my complaints and the exceptionally poor service your company has provided me I will be revising my route.

The Air France experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth.
