I received a 'Notice of Property Resolution', which implies I have 'acquired' (not won according to them?), - 3 very up-market gifts.
Under some bewildering maze of codes, tables, sub-sector tables, PD#? etc... it suggests that after I send the 'release fee', I can 'acquire' a 2008 Mercedes C-Class car worth US$29, 200.00, also -
a Compaq Personal Computer worth US$1, 258.00, and -
a Cash Check (their spelling!) worth US$2, 741.88
It totals them and states, Total Maximum Distribution - US$33, 199.88.!!!
I have not responded to this thankfully, - yet believe it or not, part of me still thinks maybe I can indeed claim and acquire these items.
Can anyone clarify this particular scam? Is the Winterfur Asset company really a rip-off?
If so, how can they be allowed to operate so insidiuously, legally.
They should be jailed for gross misrepresentation or fraud.
Please help clarify
