Hello my name is jack, i will try to keep this as brief as possible about the said company and its chairman JOHN GREEN SNR!!
i feel i am more than justified in making this complaint/report, as a business owner myself i am fully aware of simple rules one should follow!!! (maybe some are not)
ok, after reading the chairmans comments on his website, from the off i could relate to his words as a director of a family run business myself... and put my questions to john green snr by phone, what a genuine guy i stupidly said to myself after speaking to him!!
the price was so low it was almost unbelievable, maybe i was nieve however i asked again and again, in shock almost as his prices were so much lower than his local competitors, he reasured me of his price and faxed it to my secretary..i was HAPPY!!!
anyways the time came to deliever my components, i did so no problem so far, until they started to go to work on them, complaining that the steel was so defected they had to paint and paint and paint again without speaking to me first, i know for a FACT the steel was grade A... and would not of accepted this procedure...
so my price which i was once so happy about.. in the end turned in to more than triple the per tonne rate quoted... and double the price of their competitors,
i was then asked to pay for my components there and then with CASH... as he was not willing to carry out his previous terms of 60 days...
problem was i needed those components as JOHN GREEN SNR was aware from my initial conversation..this job was yes all about price.. but more importantly turn around... a job for the MOD ..need i say more, we all know what they are like on late deliverys.so i had to pay up and pay in cash also..
i feel disgusted in how i was treated and how a genuine so called family man (according to his web site) turned out to be one of the most unpleasant individuals i will ever come across, i pitty his family..i really do!!.atleast i can sleep safe in the knowledge that i live up to my family values!!!...can JOHN GREEN SNR? i very much doubt it!
i have recently found 3 other companies who have been treated in this manner and we are currently buildng a case against them... and we all hope to get justice!!!
it is a shame that ive had to go this far in writing this report, however the superficial professionalism is masking a desperate man who will stoop to desperate measures, and needs to be stopped!!!
