Cider County Customs
Poor workmanship

Trike wiring job and fabrication. After spending 2 years stripping off old paint and re-painting frame I sent it down to Cider County Custons for wiring and a small amount of fabrication work. When I picked it up I noticed the paintwork had been trashed, the engine overheated and the wiring job was tatty. We started by doing the top fork yokes up, that helped a lot with the swerving across the road uncontrollably, almost killing me incident on the way back from his workshop, then we replaced the engine he cooked by incorrectly replumbing the water pipes, then we had to correct all the obvious faults in the wiring so that it all did what it was supposed to do, which was difficult as he had randomly joined different colour wires together then we repaired as much of the paintwork he trashed and scratched as we could, including the stuff that got covered in radweld 'cos he'd punched a hole in the previously sound radiator and when the engine cooked it chucked the radweld out of the overflow, sorted out the brakes that pulled to one side and rebolted the engine into the frame with..more bolts strangely. It's still ongoing but it's getting there now. If anyone wants a recommendation mine would be STAY AWAY.
