Like many others I bought a Reflux Remedy Report, downloaded from the internet, from Barton Publishing using my Barclaycard but as well as that order on my January statement were two from WellwatchMD, one for £1 27p and one for £20.47.
Again on my February statement was another payment to Wellwatch MD for£20.69.
I complained to Barclaycard each time and stopped my Barclaycard after the February statement. They investigated, only to receive a " so called " transaction from WellwatchMD for a full year of member benefits. (What benefits I have yet to find out!) I certainly had not agreed to any of this, in fact had not even heard of Wellwatch. I complained again to Barclaycard and they advised me to contact the Managing Director of Barclaycard and pursue it further.
I had written to Barton Publishing after the first payment but they did not answer my query. Now I have written to both companies requiring a refund and telling them what I have done so far and that I will not give up until they send a refund.
Finally I have had an e.mail from Barton Publishing offering a refund but no real explanation. I would say to anyone else. Don't give up. These people must be stopped from conning people.
