Maxmedia IT
Scam and bad business practice

Maxmedia IT appears to be the new form of Chrome. I did business with Chrome, while they did what they said they would do, their service was terrible. I cancelled with them. Almost immediately "Ian Higginson" from Maxmedia successfully convinced me to go with them. I spoke to 3 agents, they all lied. They delivered a bad and incomplete product. We booked over-the-phone training sessions, but they never called me at the times arranged. They cost me a lot of money and a lot of time. They basically lied until they get your credit card info, and then start charging you for their services. I've read enough stuff online about the company to realize its a scam, and they cover their bases, so its hard to get out without losing money, so I've lost money. I was told over the phone, by someone who "doesn't work here any more" that cancellation was immediate and free, instead its cost me a pile of cash. When I called to dispute, they passed the phone around, and I could overhear them say "I think its a former Quill client". I'm not, but I've since come across complaints about them too. I'm a former Chrome client, and I suspect they all are the same thing. How long before enough info gets out about their scam, and they just create another new company name and carry on taking people's money? Steer clear of Chrome, MaxMedia IT (www.maxmediait.com), Quill, Ian Higginson... Just hang up, and for god's sakes, don't part with your credit card number.
